What is hypnosis?
Hypnosis is a calm, relaxing, trance-like state of mind in which you have enhanced focus and concentration. During this state of mind, verbal and visual images are communicated to the subconscious mind enabling you to make positive changes. Hypnosis is performed to create new behaviors or assist to accomplish personal and professional goals.
Hypnosis is a wonderful method for a variety of concerns: for example and not limited to; anxiety, pain, phobias/fear, self-confidence, stress, surgery/dental preparation and limiting beliefs.
During hypnosis you will have control and may stop the session at any time, the Hypnotherapist is facilitator to guide you through your journey.
How should I prepare?
Currently, sessions are conducted via phone or zoom. I recommend selecting a space where you may recline in a chair or bed, no interruptions, room temperature comfortable, and have tissue and water available.
What can I expect?
I will review your Intake Form, we will have a conversation regarding the information you provided, we both will have the opportunity to ask clarifying questions, and based on the information determine a treatment plan.
While in the hypnotic state I will recommend methods for you to attain your goals. I will utilize words, affirmations, and visual imagery using all your senses to capture the experience.
When the session is over, I will end your trance-like state by bringing you back to full consciousness or you may bring yourself to full consciousness.
Are trance-like experience common?
Yes, trance-like experiences are very common. If you have experienced daydreaming or zoning out while dancing or listening to music, then you have experienced a similar trance-like state.
Can a Hypnotherapist make me do anything without my permission?
NO. During hypnosis, you are always aware and in control.
How many sessions will I need?
It varies with each client. After the first session, we will discuss sessions needed.
Does hypnotherapy replace seeing my medical provider, therapist or psychiatrist?

NO. If you are being treated by a physician, therapist, psychiatrist or any other medical provider, you should continue with your treatment. Hypnosis does not replace conventional medical care and may occur in conjunction with your current conventional healing treatments.
Will I lose consciousness or fall asleep?
NO. While in trance, you will be aware of your surroundings and in control. You will be able to hear, ask and answer questions. If you no longer wish to be in trance, you may stop the session.

Payment is due two days prior to the session
What is the rescheduling and cancellation policy?
You must provide 48-hours notice to cancel or reschedule your appointment to avoid being charged for the session. No shows will not be refunded for the session.
How long is the session?
The intake session may be 60 to 90 minutes. Sessions are typically 1 hour although there may be times with the sessions are longer than an hour.
